Our unique vegetable and rainbow concept means that our pancakes come in a variety of beautiful colors. We offer 7 different flavors: beetroot (red), butterfly pea (blue), pumpkin (yellow), carrot (light orange), purple sweet potato (light purple), purple carrot (purple), and pandan (green). Please note that natural variations in color may occur between batches due to the use of real vegetable powders.
Our vegetable powders are made from a unique blend of fresh produce and are rich in nutrients, making our pancakes a healthier and more wholesome alternative to regular pancakes. We only add a small amount of sugar to improve the palatability of the pancake powder.
As a parent, I understand the concerns about sugar intake, especially for young children. That’s why we only add a minimal amount of sugar to our pancakes. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends no added sugar for infants below the age of 2 years. Children at this age consume a smaller amount of food, hence food with added sugar should be kept to a minimal. For toddlers aged 2 years and older, the added sugar is limited to no more than 25 gram (5 teaspoons) per day.
We also understand the importance of variety in a child’s diet, and our pancake series is an excellent way to introduce new vegetables and flavors to your little one. Plus, our pancakes are quick and easy to prepare, making them a great option for busy mornings or tea time.
We don’t add baking powder to our pancake mix, as it contains a substantial amount of sodium. Instead, we like to use whipped egg whites as a healthier alternative to make our pancakes fluffy. But, we leave it up to you to decide if you would like to add baking soda or baking powder to your pancake mix.
