Installation

Sprint requires ISOFIX connectors for installation and does not offer a seatbelt installation path. It is incompatible for use during air travel and in older vehicles that do not have ISOFIX anchor points.

What EU safety standards does this car seat meet?
Sprint meets the highest ECE R129 safety standards, including side impact testing, with i-Size certification when paired with a base for a guaranteed fit in any i-Size approved vehicle and reduced risk of installation errors.

Does this car seat require a base for installation?
While sprint is compatible with i-Base Encore to add a 90° spin and i-Base lx 2, it does not require a base for installation. With built-in ISOFIX connectors, sprint can be installed in one second in any vehicle with ISOFIX anchor points, without a base. 

What is the maximum height and weight usage for this car seat?
The maximum height and weight for sprint use is 75 cm and 13 kg, or approximately 12 months. 

How do you install this car seat?
Sprint can be quickly & easily installed in a second using the integrated ISOFIX connectors or paired with one of two compatible bases to click & go. Sprint does not offer a seatbelt installation path. Please see our instructional video that demonstrates how to install the sprint car seat.

Which pushchairs is sprint compatible with?
There are multiple Joie pushchairs sprint is compatible with using the included adapters: finiti™, tourist™, alore™, pact™ pro, pact™, versatrax™, versatrax™ E, chrome™, mytrax™ pro, litetrax™, litetrax™ S. sprint can be paired with other pushchairs using Maxi-Cosi® style car seat adapters.

How do I clean sprint's covers when they are dirty?
You can spot clean light marks with gentle cleaners. For heavier dirt, sprint's covers are removable and machine washable in cold water on the delicate cycle with a gentle detergent. Do not place in the dryer - hang dry only. Do not bleach, dry clean, or iron them.

When do I remove the infant insert from this seat?
The infant insert adds side protection for your baby and we recommend using the infant insert while your littlie is under 60 cm or until they outgrow the insert. You can remove the infant insert when your child's shoulders no longer fit comfortably and they are starting to look cramped or restricted.

Can this car seat be used on a flight?
Without a seatbelt installation path, sprint is not airline approved for in-flight use.
